About Us

2022 was an exciting year for 307 Quarter Horses! I purchased some land to start building the horse facility I have always wanted, and we booked to 3 phenomenal stallions for the 2023 breeding season, our 1D producing daughter of Ivory James was bred to Champion Stoli and our race winning daughter of Coronas Leaving You daughter was bred to Tres Fortunes while our home raised daughter of FlitYeahImaFirewater, was bred to up and coming, Pieorities.

A little history about our breeding program...VF Burrs Eye was purchased in 2002, as 2 yr old son of Burrs First Down and out of a proven producing Mystic Eye daughter. He was everything we wanted in a stallion; a kind eye, gentle disposition, big bone and an incredible work ethic. Vegas was our "go to" ranch horse. We team roped on him and he was making a good start as a barrel horse, earning money in the 1D and 2D until an injury early in his career left him breeding sound only.  Vegas sired several nationally known Barrel racing Champions and is now proving himself as a broodmare sire. When he passed away at 14, we were lucky to have another gem standing out in our pasture. FlitYeahImaFirewater our home raised stallion and comes from a strong stakes producing female family, and by a very proven son of Fire Water Flit.

My breeding program is based on producing horses with work ethic, the ability to win in today's top barrel racing competition, natural cow to work a ranch job, conformation to stay sound and that sweet disposition to make them easy to get along with for any level of rider.

I am proud of the horses we have raised, trained and sold through the years and enjoy seeing them win for their new owners. I feel blessed to have ridden many of these same horses while working cattle and barrel racing.  With a my breeding program growing in popularity, I wanted to give back to the industry so in 2019 I began sponsoring a fun, new award for the Fizz Bomb Barrel Futurity held right here in Wyoming, the Colorado Classic Futurity and Grid Iron in SD. It's called the Homegrown Award, and is given to the highest placing breeder/owner/rider combination entered in each futurity. I would love to see someone that has bred to Gunner, win on their baby that they also trained and are riding.

I have 2 helpers, my boys Colt, 15 and Remington, 11. They are very involved with our horse program and I love getting their opinion choosing outside stallions and new mares as we continue this adventure together.

I am an active member of the AQHA as a National Director for Wyoming and I will do my best to advocate for the American Quarter Horse and the membership. Please contact me with any questions and concerns.

If you have any questions, feel free to call or email. I love to talk horses!
